Loretta (Large) Robinson

Loretta Robinson, age 73, passed on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky.  She was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky on September 8, 1943 to the late William Hogsdon and the late Gypsy Bailey.  She was a resident of Bath County residing in Owingsville, Kentucky.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed volunteering at the Bath County Christian Social Services for 13 years.

She is survived by five sons, Oscar (Wina) Robinson of Owingsville, KY, Eddie Robinson of Means, KY, Tommy Ray (Geana) Robinson of Lexington, KY, Donnie (Beverly) Robinson of Owingsville, KY and Mike Robinson of Texas.  She is also survived by ten daughters, Diane (Marion) LoPresto of Owingsville, Kentucky, Tammy (Eddie) Garland of Preston, KY, Kathy Blevins of West Liberty, KY, Patricia (Mark) Montgomery, Charlene Robinson of Olympia, KY, Christina Robinson of Owingsville, KY, Donna Robinson of Montgomery County, KY, Crystal (Tad) Henderson of Owingsville, KY, Nicholette (Jerry) Patrick of Owingsville, Kentucky, and Berdella (Mike) Blumenstein of Wisconsin;  Several brothers, sisters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. A special uncle, Leonard (Lorene) Bailey as well as a special friend, Marcelle Doggett also survive.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Robinson; her father, William Hogsdon and her mother, Gypsy Bailey. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Edward “Junior” Robinson and Odean Robinson and one daughter, Deborah Morgan. Several brothers and sisters also preceded her in death.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 26, 2016 from 5-8 P.M. at Richardson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Richardson Funeral Home.  The reverends Mike Munday and Jeff LoPresto will be officiating.

Interment at Owingsville Cemetery will occur immediately following the funeral service.
