My thoughts and prayers and those of the Owingsville First Church of God are with the John Roberts Family through this time. I would have attended the service today in honor of his Grandmother Rena who was a wonderful neighbor in Kendall Springs several years ago but I was not aware that he had passed away until the hearse went down the street in front of my office and I got on the funeral home website to see whose funeral had taken place. I have not been in tune with the news much lately and I just missed the notice. It is my prayer that the Lord will bless John's family and all of those who are diminished because of his passing with his comfort and peace in the days ahead.

To the family, my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your loved one. As you cope with your loss, may you be comforted by the "Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort" (2 Cor 1:3) that one day, "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." (John 5:28, 29) May these promises from God's word, the Bible give you comfort now and real hope for the future. My deepest sympathy.
