E.L. Butcher

E.L. Butcher, 86, passed away Tuesday April 4th at Ridgeway Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness. He was born in Bath County on December 28, 1930 to the late Bryan and Lena Faye Butcher. He was a Veteran of the Air Force and a retired Texas Eastern employee.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife Dorothy Manley Butcher of Owingsville; a son Dennis (Eve) Butcher of Salt Lick; his sister Betty Bailey of Owingsville and a special friend Arnold Davis.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Richardson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. with the Reverend Greg Whitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Owingsville Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Slate Valley Christian Church.
