David Phillip Pedrick, 75, passed away Sunday August 28th after a short illness at his home. He was born October 9, 1940 to the late Ronald and Betty Lou Pedrick. He was a retired kayak fisherman and a veteran of the US Navy in which he performed astronaut recovery for the space program. He was also a proud member of the American Wine Society.

He is survived by his wife Johann Pedrick of Wellington; three daughters Mindy (William) Hodson of Owingsville, Pamela Hofer of Owingsville and Wannipa Raffs of Sacramento, California; one brother Donald (Carol) Pedrick of Springfield, Ohio; and two grandchildren Taylor and Kylee Hodson of Owingsville.

There will be a Celebration of Life Ceremony at the Clay Community Center in Mt. Sterling on September 16th at 5 p.m. All friends and relatives are encouraged to attend.
